Brad Eyre
Brad Eyre is a contemporary Canadian artist whose abstract practice explores the dynamic tension between chaos and control through a highly process-driven approach. Eyre rejects brushwork in favour of direct physical interaction with his medium, manipulating acrylic paint through pressure—compressing pigment between surfaces and separating them in deliberate, controlled motions.
Based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Eyre brings over three decades of experience in the cultural sector to his practice. He studied at the University of Toronto and further developed his understanding of visual language during his time at the Museo del Prado in Madrid. Eyre’s work has been widely exhibited and is held in numerous private collections, appealing to collectors who value abstraction that merges emotional immediacy with conceptual rigor.
